If your garage door is left open Tailwind's Night Mode will ensure that, during a preset time you provide, Tailwind will automatically try to close the garage door(s) for you.
This gives you the security of a timed auto-close at night while having the convenience of leaving your garage open during the day if you want to do yard work for example.
We have a separate "timer to close" feature that you can also set if you wish.

My controller just updated its firmware, and now there’s no “night mode” settings in the app.
It's in Settings -> Automations
I'm not sure when it stopped functioning correctly, but my Night Mode feature no longer works. I just now tested it and the garage door never closed. The time parameters were correct and saved properly.
The other issue I had was the garage door closing on its own, even with the timed closing function being disabled. Somehow that problem has been rectified, but the Night Mode feature now does not work. Very frustrating.
I sent in a bug report. My night mode was showing active outside of the window of time specified. When I reset that time again the indications were green.
However, today outside of the night mode range, the garage door automatically closed. It almost seems like it is using a default of Eastern standard Time versus the local time.
Also after the most recent firmware update, when I change my night mode settings, it seems to knock my tailwind device offline. Cycling power to the tailwind device does not do anything, I actually have to reboot my router to get it to reconnect.
I am having the same issue (as others here) with Night Mode, which is the main reason I bought Tailwind. I suspect the clock in the Tailwind controller is off, but I don't see anywhere on the new app where I can check/correct the time on the controller. Suggestions wanted.
Please make sure you have the latest version of the Tailwind app installed and then re-save your Night Mode settings.
