Will IQ 3 work with Genie 2028 ? Does it need any sensors? This is for a single door, doesn’t have the pictured wall controller. Does have reversing eyes on each track.

  Hi Robert,

  Yes it will work and yes it needs a door sensor.
  
  I have attached 2 screenshots. One is if you have a Series III wall control. The other is for "all other" wall controls. You will see there are slight differences in wiring, and if you have a Series III, the original iQ3 is not compatible but the iQ3 2.0 and 2.1 are.
