The auto-open bug was fixed in the release on Sunday night.

If your widget won't work please try deleting the Tailwind app. Restart your phone, and reinstall the app. Reports indicate this fixes the widget issue.

Shortcuts is still an open issue and being worked on, although some customers report the above steps also fix their Shortcuts.

Mine stops at 164 feet but GPS still sees speed.  After the app update on IOS it stopped working at all.  I've removed and added the sensor and the garage.  It won't open at drive up and the widget doesn't work anymore.  Have to open app and hit the door open that way.

Same issue for me. The garage door will not open since the new app was installed, I updated all firmware on the device and sensor pucks to no avail. I tried uninstalling the app hoping it was just a permission issue, but that did not work. I tested with the auto open close diag and mine tracked to 2200 ft and then stopped there. I left it open and on the way back it picked up of approximately 2000 ft and continued to correctly guaged distance, but the door never opened. I am able to open the door via the app. It is the auto open close feature that no longer works.

I’m having similar issues since the app/firmware updates. Updated the opener and the car sensor firmware but my widgets/shortcuts on iOS still no longer work and neither does auto-open. I’m going to try a proper diagnostic tomorrow to see if I can see what’s going on, but I’m glad to hear I’m not the only person having issues since the update. I thought I was losing it! I recreated all of my iOS shortcuts to no avail. Using the app is okay but very clunky fiddling with my phone compared to how smooth everything was before :)

Thanks! I think auto-open worked tonight but I happened to trigger it at the same time so I’ll double check tomorrow to make sure. I’ll see if my shortcuts are working again too. Thanks for the prompt action!

Thanks James. Wish it wasn't necessary in the first place. I'm pretty bummed about this because the apps were tested in beta for months prior to release and we still introduced  a number of bugs.

We'll just fix them as fast as we can.

No worries Scott, it happens :)

Apple changes stuff like the wind on their end too so it’s a moving target. Impressed with how fast you were able to jump on it! I have other smart home automation platforms where I went months without resolution when an update broke them. For a while I did not update my phone OS because it would break my automations every single time.

    Thanks again!
