If you're having issues with your garage door or gate opening or closing seemingly without anyone commanding it to open or close, tap on "Events" at the bottom of the Tailwind app and review the event log. Beside each open / close event it will say why the door opened or closed. It will say a user's name, the name of an automation, or "Somebody".
If it says a user's name please check with that user as they may have accidentally touched the widget or the app door icon by mistake (putting the phone in a pocket or a purse with the widget or app on the screen can do this).
If it says the name of an automation, check the settings for that automation.
If it says "Somebody" it means that the Tailwind controller did not issue a command to operate the door and it just noticed that the door opened or closed and is reporting it.
One important thing to note is if your Tailwind system uses a door sensor to detect the door position, the controller relies on that sensor. If your door sensor is out of alignment it can report the wrong door state to the controller, making it think the door is open when it is actually closed. If you have any automations configured to close the door (Night Mode, Timed Auto-close, integrations with other systems), this can inadvertently cause the door to open because the system thinks the door is already open when it is actually closed.
