My home Wifi operates at 5 Ghz. I do not understand the video's installation instructions as how to make sure that the device is to connect to Wifi using 2.5 Ghz. My mesh wifi (Deco TP Link) does not indicate how to set up a separate Wifi connection using 2.4 Ghz. I also could not figure out to change my phone (Samsung S22) settings to 2.4 Ghz. Thanks in advance for your help.
Scott, not sure if you sorted this out, but my Netgear Orbi mesh network has both 2.4 and 5GHz bands, even though I set 5GHz as preference. When I set my controller up, it found and used the 2.4 band no problem.
I'm betting if u have other home automation stuff, you likely have 2.4 available as well.
