Funny announcement error in iOS 16.0b2

I’m in the public beta, and when I ask Siri to open or close — either on my phone or via CarPlay in the car — instead of the old, “OK, on it! Door command sent successfully,” she now responds with, “OK viewing. Door command sent successfully.” The onscreen notification says that as well. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  Yeah we would have no idea why that would happen. Everything with Siri / HomeKit / CarPlay is entirely controlled by Apple. Really the only thing you can do is file a bug report with Apple on that.
