    Hi Dominik,

Currently it will only open one of them but the capability to do both is coming shortly.

Scott, great thank you for the info. I can help myself with a second Vehicle Sensor in the same car until then, right?

Unfortunately no. If you put 2 vehicle sensors in the car it will actually mess things up and the app will tell you it found 2 sensors and doesn't know what to do. This feature has been worked on for a while and will be released soon. It's part of a complete UI overhaul as well as the addition of another fairly large feature so it's all tied together. Coming soon.

Has this been resolved? I also have two garage doors next to each other and I want to open both as I drive up. I must walk through the right garage door to get into our house. We have a tight garage and I park on the left. I bought two sensors. One for me and one for my spouse. I can't figure out how to open both doors (each has tailwind installed) with one sensor?

Unfortunately not yet. The team that was working on this was terminated and replaced with new developers a few months ago. They were working on bug fixes first. Most of those have been handled and now they are focusing on the rollout of the new UI and this feature.

Thanks for the update. I was able to resolve this concern by creating an Apple home automation to automatically open/close the 2nd door.

Very keen for this upgrade as I have a sliding gate prior to the garage door (new house), was trying to get this to work over the weekend. Now I know why it's not working. Awesome product had one in the other house for 4 years and never missed a beat.....All the way from Adelaide Australia.

Any upgrade as I also have a sliding gate prior to the garage door with two tailwinds systems?

The new mobile app is almost ready for beta testing. It is a complete re-design of the user interface and there is also a new database and account structure behind it. This particular feature is tied into all of that so it was part of an enormous project.

Anyone registered for beta versions of our apps will get it soon - should be in a couple of weeks or so.

Anyone can register by just looking up our app on the Google Playstore and signing up there. For iOS users, you currently have to request to be added to the beta.

    Hi Paul,

Please email support@gotailwind.com and request to be added to the beta for iOS and make sure you provide whatever email address you use for your Apple ID. We will need that to whitelist your Apple account. Then Apple will end you the invitation.

Hi Scott, we’re installing a gate at our residence. Have been using tailwind seamlessly for years. It looks like it’ll be compatible but I really want to have both open seamlessly with the one vehicle sensor. Based on the previous comments it looks like this will be possible with the new app? I kind of want to confirm before I buy a second unit. Thanks, Tyler

I went ahead and bought it anyways. I believe I’ll just be able to set up a geofence using IFTTT if this isn’t an option yet but really hoping it is possible
