Auto close when home?

Will the tailwind auto close the door after someone comes home? The use case I have is a member of the household frequently doesn’t come home from work until 2 or 3 am. He sometimes forgets to close the garage door and we have been robbed as a result. Can you set the tailwind to close an open garage door after someone comes home?

  Hi Jeff,

  There are a couple ways to accomplish this, but the most obvious one is Night Mode. If you turn on Night Mode it will automatically close the door within 5 minutes of it opening any time during the night (you specify when "night" begins and ends).

  We also have a separate timed close feature that operates 24 hours a day but in your use case I think Night Mode is the better option as it will make sure the door is closed within 5 minutes during the night.
