Door Sensor Wiring

I have been able to successfully setup my IQ3 2.0. I followed the guide and the door works as intended. I did not move the door sensor wires from the Chamberlain GDO. The sensors still work as intended by stopping the garage door from closing if something/someone crosses the laser while the door is closing. Is there an added benefit to moving the door sensor wiring through the Tailwind?

  Not at this time. Our firmware and app will support reporting the status of those sensors in the future. It is not necessary for the system to function - it will just be an added piece of information exposed / reported.
