Vehicle Sensor - Battery Life Feedback

I use Tailwind with my iPhone and a vehicle sensor in the saddlebag of my Harley. Just received a low battery notification a couple days ago. Ordered a new battery from Amazon and installed it today per the directions in the vehicle sensor users manual (easy install). For anyone curious about vehicle sensor battery life, I keep mine powered on full time and it lasted 18 months. (Note: I use the “longer range/shorter battery life” setting in the Tailwind app.). I love the convenience of pulling my bike straight into the garage when I arrive home and couldn’t be happier with my purchase of the Tailwind. Thanks, Scott for a great product!

  One thing to note - the battery life will vary depending on the replacement battery used. We’ve tested some that lasted less than a week and others last more than 1 year. So please note that if you replace the battery and it dies quickly it most likely means the battery was a dud.

  Thanks for the heads-up, Scott! I’ll keep an eye on the life of the replacement battery and will experiment with other brands if needed.
