Sorry they got locked out! If the "automatically close" option is not selected, then the auto-close timer is probably not what closed the door. There are a number of different automations that can close the door through Tailwind. Please check your Tailwind history in the app. It will tell you what automation, or who closed the door at that time. If it shows an automation closed it, you'll know. If it shows a specific user closed it (it will show their name) you'll know that too. If it says "somebody" closed it, it means the command came from outside the Tailwind ecosystem and it's just reporting door activity.

    Thanks Scott,

Ok, I found the history and it looks like the night mode closed the door. (opps).  I just changed the the times to the earliest morning time that we would go out.  That should take care of the problem.  Thank you for your help.  :)

The auto-close timer is in My Notifications. It's tied to the "Notify me if the door is left open" notification. There's an optional checkbox there to also close the door, not just notify.
