I understand there should be <1/2” gap between the sensor mounted to the track and the magnet on the door, but how far can they be off with regard to depth? Even at the shortest depth on the bracket for the door magnet, it sticks into the garage ~1/4” from the track sensor. I don’t see a way of adjusting the track sensor to sit further away from the track in order to make them sit flush in both dimensions.

  Randolph,

  Sorry for the delayed reply on this. Just use the other hole in the magnet bracket as mentioned in our installation video. That will allow the magnet to sit closer to the door and fix your issue.

  Upon further inspection, it appears that I could get a few longer machine screws and shim under the track sensor to bring it further away from the track to line up with the door magnet.

  What size screws are used to mount the track sensor to the bracket?
