    Paul,

You can check the battery status in the app by going to Vehicle List -> Choosing the vehicle associated with the sensor (tap on the pencil icon), and then tap "Sensor Diagnostics".

Agreed - it's not the most convenient way to get that information. Thank you for the suggestions. I've noted this and we will get that done. I don't have a timeline for it, but I like the suggestions and we should have done that sooner.

Hey Scott, thanks for the info. I actually tried that and it’s how I discovered the battery was dead. The diag screen just spun and spun and never came up, so from there I tried powering off and back on again the sensor, only to find out there was no LED light. Dead battery!

It would be nice to have an app notification when the battery gets low, say when you are coming home and the sensor is used to auto-open the garage. In any event, thanks for listening and making such an amazing product!

Sadly this is more challenging than it should be thanks to Apple. It should be about the simplest thing to do - ever. The problem is that if we try to send the battery information it will cause iOS to not properly detect the vehicle sensor.

We are working on this, but Apple is not making it easy.

LOL the batteries in both my TVSes died within one day of each other, after about eight months. It wouldn’t be too bad with CR2032s, but seeking out 2477s is like hunting for El Dorado. Anybody have a reliable source?

We generally recommend just ordering them on Amazon. You can get a 5 pack for $7 delivered right to your door.

LOL yeah. I ordered two off amazon dot see eh for $26 Canadian but yeah I see them on dot com for $10 for a five pack. I’ve had them sent to the border and will pick them up when I can finally get across easily, perhaps next month (or September which I imagine is the latest it’ll remain closed to “leisure” crossings).
