Door Synchronization
Recently, Tailwind had a server issue that took their system down for the better part of a day. On the restoration of service, one of my two doors was registered as being in the wrong position. I tried restarting the phone, power cycling the Tailwind unit and nothing fixed it. Finally, I detached the magnet on the door and gave the sensor a swipe to fool it into thinking that the door had just opened, The door is now synchronized with what the Tailwind unit thinks and everything is working again.
It would be nice if there was something in the app settings to allow a user to re-select the actual position of the door for circumstances which might cause the Tailwind to get out of sync with reality.

Thanks Jeff. We are trying to get our heads around how that is even possible that it was "out of sync" like that. We've never heard of that happening, and we can't even figure out how it could happen because the hardware looks for either an open or closed switch in the door sensor, and then it sends either an open or closed message to the server - so it's not a toggle signal that could get out of sync - it's an open signal if the switch is open, and a closed signal of the switch is closed. That's really weird, but I'm glad it's straightened out again for you.
