    Thanks Jeff. We are trying to get our heads around how that is even possible that it was "out of sync" like that. We've never heard of that happening, and we can't even figure out how it could happen because the hardware looks for either an open or closed switch in the door sensor, and then it sends either an open or closed message to the server - so it's not a toggle signal that could get out of sync - it's an open signal if the switch is open, and a closed signal of the switch is closed. That's really weird, but I'm glad it's straightened out again for you.

    I figure that it was related to the server issue and somehow I got an opening or closing that the tailwind didn't register while it was struggling to connect to the server. You can reproduce it by removing and reapplying the magnet to the sensor without moving the door...
