Can not reconnect to controller
Welp. Didn't realize the service was down, just that my door wouldn't open. So, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, restarted the controller. Still not connecting. Recalled the warning that users weren't supposed to "kill" the app. Decided I needed to delete the controller in the app and then reconnect. Deleted the controller, but then realized that I'd stuck the double-sided tape to the label where the QR code and MAC address are. When I un-stuck it, it pulled the ink for the QR code and the MAC address off. I think I've reconstructed the MAC address but when I walk through the connection process, I get to "Searching for Tailwind Devices"...and it hangs. Just sits there. Don't know for how long - I gave up waiting at 10 minutes. Any advice on what to do next would be appreciated; as it is now I have a $70 paperweight that blinks blue.
This device is a great idea, but the execution doesn't seem there yet. It works about 90% of the time, and when it works it's fantastic. But it's not reliable. It needs to be an order of magnitude or two more reliable to be really trustworthy.
