  Sorry for the late reply. That number is for the circuit board inside your opener. The simplest method to check a Craftsman opener for compatibility is to just look at the "learn" button on the opener unit. If it is round and yellow, you'll need to take some special steps. If it is square an any color Tailwind is directly compatible with it.
