One door seemingly randomly opens

I have two car doors connected to Tailwind. Prior to yesterday, both doors worked as expected. Now, one door will randomly open. There is no wireless remote control connected to that door. The app reports that someone opened the door. Prior to the Tailwind installation, the door did not ever open on its own . What is causing the one door to randomly open?

  Ammon,

  Please carefully check the wiring between the Tailwind controller and your garage door opener to make sure a fastener or pinch has not caused the wires to be touching together somewhere. Sometimes this can also happen right at the door opener terminal block - the wires can almost be touching and then occasionally make contact, causing the door to open.

   

  Also, please reach out to us at support@gotailwind.com and let us know what email address you used to register your Tailwind with. We will check our server to see if your controller has reported any troubles.

  And finally, if it isn't the wiring we would be happy to send you a replacement controller to help put your mind at ease. This definitely goes against our mission of making your garage more secure.

  We will make it right.
