Tail wind with google wifi

I have google wifi and it automatically chooses 2.4 or 5ghz. It doesn't show up as 2 seperate networks and my galaxy note 9 won't let me change to 2.4 either. Can you set up tail wind on a google wifi router?

note: the ssid for both frequencies is the same. google controls which to use...

  So sorry for my late reply on this. I missed your post originally. Yes you can set it up with Google WiFi. Even if your phone is on the 5GHz network it doesn't matter because the SSID and password are the same for both, so it is irrelevant. We have many customers with Google WiFi, and I personally have Google WiFi in my home and it's a complete non-issue. I've set up more than 100 Tailwind controllers (not all at the same time!) in my house since I got Google WiFi and it works perfect every time.
