I think you could make a very effective and simple update to the app to make it work with CarPlay. I didn’t get the autodetect sensor because I don’t often park in my garage. But the ability to use a CarPlay app to open it when I’m pulling in would be great!

Love the device so far!

  Thank you Chris. The team is looking into what is involved. So far my understanding is that we need to get HomeKit working and then we can do CarPlay, but I'm not sure. Regardless, we are looking into it :)

  CarPlay support would be great. The iOS app needs to add CarPlay screen dimension support, no need for HomeKit support.  It shouldn't be too much work really.

  I would like to see a Tailwind Garage Closed flash up on my Carplay screen. I had the mostly dis functional NEXX Garage door opener (now in the trash bind) but it would display the garage door closed on my Carplay screen.

  Thank you for the suggestions in this thread. CarPlay is on our roadmap. We had a major issue to deal with in iOS 13, but now that we've finally got that settled down we can get back to CarPlay support among many other things :)
