I have tried a few times to connect my car's SYNC system to this (My android Samsung is already paired and connects automatically) It does not seem to be able to identify my car and open the door as expected.

  Juan,

  Sorry for my late reply. I missed your post. If your Android phone is paired with your vehicle, it should show up in the Tailwind app when you are in the process of adding a vehicle.   At the 1:00 mark in the video it shows the app popping up a screen with the pre-existing bluetooth devices paired with the phone. Your vehicle should show up there. Also, once you have it set up you'll need to make sure phone is actually connected to your vehicle while you're driving. I know this may sound obvious, but I've handled many tech support inquiries where I discovered the phone was not actually connected to the vehicle for various reasons. One of the most common reasons is that someone else was in the car and their phone connected to the vehicle instead of the phone with the Tailwind app on it.
