Tailwind sensor
Although my Android head unit has Bluetooth can I still use a sensor by just recognising the sensor as the vehicle? Will a sensor allow myself or my wife, we have different Android phones, to drive the vehicle and auto open/close to work for either of us?
Edit: Forgot to mention that my wife doesn't connect her phone to car Bluetooth, she says that she can't be bothered ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you have a vehicle sensor and you configure it as a "vehicle" in the Tailwind app on your phone as well as in the app on your wife's phone then either of you can drive the vehicle and have the auto-open feature. She will be able to configure the distances / preferences she wants, and you'll be able to configure the ones you want. Note that obviously you need to share access to the Tailwind controller with her and she needs to log into the Tailwind app on her phone to do all of this.
