App Show Door in Lock Out
About two weeks ago, my garage door shows lock out on the app and always shows the door as open.
I update the firmware and still persisted. If I reboot the device several times, it goes away but comes right back after first use. Door operates as normal using the manual button so I know it isn't the door safety sensors.
Have two garage doors and second one works fine. I have iphone and android phones and both apps are showing the same.
Troubleshooting steps taken
-Updated firmware
-Rebooted device
-Removed sensor, unplugged power, plugged pwr in, once green light, plugged sensor in
-Unplugged Tailwind sensor from door and plugged back in
-Manually operated the door several times
-App is up to current version
I am out of troubleshooting steps, please help.

Hi Jim,
This definitely sounds like either a door sensor problem or a door sensor wiring problem. If you touch the 2 door sensor wires together and it shows the door is closed in the app, it means the controller and wiring are both good and you need to check the door sensor alignment and function.
The app should show the door is open when the door sensor wires are disconnected, and it should show the door is closed when those same 2 door sensor wires are touched together.Comment actions
