Notification stop working

HI John,
Sorry your notifications are still not working. Please check notification permissions for the Tailwind app. Tap and hold on the Tailwind app icon. Then tap "i" or "information". Then check the notification permission. You want them all turned on except for "Tailwind is running". Turn that one off.
If that's on, try turning notifications off in the Tailwind app under "My Notifications" and then turn them back on again. If that doesn't fix it, please try logging out of the Tailwind app and logging back in.

Boy did I get in trouble last night (3/3/24) My wife yelled at me for messing with the garage doors. Both are phones were blowing up with notifications along with Alexa in all 3 rooms. I assured her it was just letting her know the doors were closed (lol). Turned off the notifications within the app and they stopped. I've programed in many languages since 1984 and know what it's like to fix a bug only for others to appear. I'm sure you guys will find and fix it, Good Luck

HI Everyone. Sorry for the late update. We were up until about 5AM EST fixing the issues and I fell asleep before posting here. As you know, everything is now back to normal and apologies for the backlog of notifications. Fortunately my wife had her phone on Do Not Disturb so I'm still a married man this morning.
I know we should have deleted the cache of "catch up" notifications, but I was so furious that this happened in the first place - and so soon after the Android app mess that I just wanted it back up and running as quickly as possible. I didn't want anyone touching anything that wasn't directly related to getting things back up and running again.
We did identify a script that stopped running yesterday for some reason, and that script is responsible for notifications as well as integrations. We are going to be investigating that a lot further. It should automatically restart the script if it stops, but it didn't. It should notify our team that the script stopped, but it didn't.
Thank you to those of you who are in the IT / software field. Your kind words are appreciated. I don't like disappointing our customers. It makes me really mad - furious actually.
I will continue to invest in software development to improve and scale our services for you. I'm actually in the process of hiring 2 more software developers right now.

I had a similar issue on my Pixel after an update, and it turned out notification permissions had reset in the system settings. Also worth checking battery optimization, as it can silently block apps in the background.
Not sure why updates mess things up like this, but I’ve run into random issues like that before—even with unrelated stuff like Carpet cleaner services not syncing notifications properly.

Notification issues can be really frustrating, especially when important alerts suddenly stop appearing. In many cases, it comes down to app permissions, background settings, or a recent software update affecting functionality. Reliable communication is essential in modern systems — that’s why businesses in Vending Media and digital vending solutions focus heavily on smooth, real-time user interaction to create a seamless experience.

That usually happens when browser permissions or site settings get changed, especially after updates or clearing cache. I’d suggest checking notification permissions first and then re-enabling them for the site—also test in another browser to rule out device issues.
I’ve seen similar small technical glitches even on content-focused platforms like cocktail bars where everything looks fine on the front end, but a backend setting temporarily affects functionality on Socio HK.

If notifications suddenly stop working, the issue is often related to browser permissions, disabled background sync, app updates, battery optimization settings, or server-side notification failures. I’d first check whether notifications are enabled both in the browser and device settings, then test if the problem is happening across all devices or only one.
I’ve seen similar issues on analytics and tracking platforms where real-time updates are important for users. While working with PERM Tracker, I noticed how critical stable notification systems are for keeping users informed about timeline updates and case activity. Even a small delay in alerts can affect the overall user experience on tracking-based platforms.
