    I guess you are right! I never thought about cutting the wire and splicing in extra. I only thought about adding at the end--which has a proprietary connector for the controller which I didn't want...

    For two doors,  running the wires up the center between the doors worked for me. Otherwise, if you run on the outside of both doors, its a problem connecting to the controller (you can't!) .   Perh...
