Hi Dave. Sorry about that. I can see your controller is offline but it should not be bricked. Please try power cycling your Tailwind controller. If that doesn't help, please try power cycling your router / modem.

Scott, I am still getting notifications of open/close but I can't control anything.

Hey Dave, I have the same issue with my controller.  Did you ever get a resolution to this?

Hi Scott,  Looks like I have the same problems that Dave is seeing.  The firmware update has rendered my IQ3 non-functional.  What can be done?

    Hi Jeff,

    Sorry for the trouble!

If you have not already done so, please email support@gotailwind.com and let us know what email address you used to register your device. We should be able to fix it for you remotely. Sorry for the hiccup. I suspect this has to do with the Apple HomeKit update, which was extremely complex and involved re-mapping the memory. There is a period of a few milliseconds where there is a risk of this happening if something goes wrong, but we have a backup in place to fix it if it happens.

I believe I’m experiencing the same issue. The firmware update that’s trying to go through is called “interim update to prepare for HomeKit”. I just emailed tailwind support. Thanks!

I've got this same problem.  The tailwind stopped working and the light is now yellowish.  I'll send mail to the support email address and hopefully it can get fixed.
