I just installed Tailwind today, and have been setting up the integrations and shortcuts. I set Shortcuts on my phone, and I also installed the Apple Watch Tailwind app on my Apple Watch. When I tell my watch “Hey Siri, open the garage door” it pulls up the shortcut I made for opening the garage door. But it makes me hit a button on the screen to actually run the shortcut from my watch. (I’ve already run the shortcut the first time to give it permission to run the shortcut, so it no longer asks for the additional permission, but it still makes me hit the button to run the shortcut). Will the Apple Watch just respond to verbal commands without having to hit a button? Or is that just something that is what it is?
Happy so far with the device overall - just switched from the MyQ because I was getting tons of incorrect notification (so many that I started to ignore them) and I ignored one that was real, and my bike was stolen from my garage which had been open over night. I like that Tailwind has a physical sensor to make sure the door is closed instead of relying on Bluetooth. And also, that there is an auto-close after x minutes feature in case I leave it open.
