Door reversing issue
I have a two door garage. I had a problem with one garage door this past winter. It stopped going up and down. When the weather was better, I tapped the "motor" and it unstuck and worked again.
However, what started happening is that when I close the door with the app, the door starts to close but about 1/4 or 1/5 way down, it reverses. It opens fine with the app or wall button. When I use the wall mounted button to open and close, it doesn't stop and closes properly.
Is there some setting in the app I can change for this?

Take a look at the infrared safety sensors the ones that stops and reverses the door if it gets obstructed. Mine has started doing the same thing but it happens intermittently. I have a loose door track the bottom bracket is loose and wont tighten up it's drilled into concrete so I will wait until it gets worse enough that I need to fix it.

Not the sensors...this door doesn't have infrared sensors. It's an older garage door opener. I guess I can try to decrease the sensitivity on the opener itself. There are two screw adjustments...one for force and another for sensitivity. It just seems that if the wall button doesn't have a problem, then the app shouldn't have a problem either. Weird.
