Comcast xfinity problems
UPDATE: Comcast just called me and confirmed they found an issue and have fixed it. It will take up to 24 hours for the changes to take effect.
It has recently come to our attention that xfinity has blocked access to some of our services in some parts of the USA. This is part of their "xFi advanced security". We contacted Comcast immediately upon learning about this and we are continuing to follow up with them. Their standard response is that it should be resolved within 3 days. We will push for faster resolution than that.
You should be able to restore all of your Tailwind services immediately by turning off xFi advanced security. The Comcast support link for doing that can be found below.
This post will be updated as more details become available.

I've been on a support chat with xfinity though their Facebook page for more than 2.5 hours trying to get it escalated. Maybe begging is a better word. I plan on posting screenshots of the chat to show everyone we are trying desperately.
So far xfinity has hung up on us the moment they found out we are not a new customer calling.
They require a service address in their area and a valid xfinity account to even put us into the voicemail hell system to make us even think we might get some support. Since we cannot provide those, even their chatbot hangs up on us.
We submitted the formal request to have the server unblocked yesterday, but that gets submitted through a web form and there's no assurance it will get acted upon.

Evdryst fair point :P I just don't like paying $15/mo for inferior equipment, but the support is a fair argument. I have spent hours telling idiots "it's not my equipment" before finally getting service.
Scott Riesebosch that's crazy! You can use my account info if it would help you. Not sure if there's a pm option here but you should have my info :P
