garage wont close

i can no linger close the garage door with the app.  It opens but will not close.  the app says its closing but then does not close.  I can close the door with MyQ  I have changes the pulses to 1 pulse and 500 ms but it still wont close when I press close.

  It sounds like the issue is with the app sending the close command rather than the door itself. Since the garage closes manually via MyQ, I recommend:

  1. Check app permissions – make sure the MyQ app has full control and any background app restrictions are off.

  2. Re-link the door – remove the garage door from the app and re-add it; this often resets the app-to-opener communication.

  3. Update the app and firmware – ensure both the MyQ app and garage opener firmware are up to date.

  4. Reset pulses back to default – some openers are sensitive to pulse length; try reverting to manufacturer-recommended settings.

  If it still won’t close from the app, it’s likely an app-specific issue, since manual operation works.
