Installing MyQ as a backup

Hi Michael,
No there would not be any conflict. The 2 systems can coexist.
There are no words to properly express how sorry I am that we let you down at the moment. I have been keeping people up to date in the thread that I pinned to the top of the community forum here https://gotailwind.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360075208772-Partial-system-outage?page=2#comments

I have had MyQ for years and it never really worked well. When they pulled the plug on 3rd-party integrations a couple of years ago I disconnected the 829LM Monitor and never used the app — using muscle memory to push the button on the remote is infinitely easier then accessing the app on my phone and 90% of use cases. While it was running, I’d estimate MyQ’s uptime was somewhere around 60%. So while Tailwind downtime might be an annoyance, especially now that I’ve grown so accustomed to it just doing its thing, I still won’t be returning to the MyQ app; I’ve plugged the Monitor back in but don’t expect I’ll ever need it. I can reach for the remote when I need it.
