Our apologies. The service is currently down. Just sent a notification out to all users through the app notifying of the service interruption. We are currently working to restore it ASAP! Sorry for any inconvenience :(

Same problem here. I hope these guys aren't going to go out of business.

Same problem for me.  I got a notification from the app to "re-save your Night Mode Settings", but the app can't connect to the device.  You would think that something as simple as a time change would have been thought through.  Reminds me of good old Y2K!

I just submitted a ticket.  Let's see if we get a response.

same thing. went to change my night mode and it said it was offline. it was letting me open/close the garage though. now the garage door has completely disappeared from the app. hopefully we get an update soon.

Thanks for the update, Scott. I was almost locked out of my house, glad I had a backup key. I've been unplugging/replugging/restarting everything trying to figure out what was going on. I didn't realize that the function of tailwind was dependent on your servers, I thought the device acted as its own server. Any ETA on downtime?

Our team is currently working with AWS tech support but I don't have any insight as to when service will be restored at this time. I will be posting immediately when I know more.

Thanks Scott for your efforts to resolve.

FYI — the app just ‘spins’. Please wait. Please wait. I did not ( perhaps cannot) receive any Notifications regarding service interruptions.

Just curious why this same issue did not occur in previous years?  Perhaps it did and I somehow missed it!

The app messages you have sent out aren't coming though on my iPhone....just an FYI.  The banner notification opens the app and goes straight to the door status.

Didn't get a notification on Android til a couple of minutes ago. My auto-close still functioned this morning, so I guess that's a plus...

Service has been restored with the exception of third party integrations such as Google, Alexa, ST, IFTTT. Those will come back online shortly.

The notifications we send out through the app are just like other Tailwind notifications like door open / close notifications, except if you read the notification instead of it saying "Somebody opened the garage door" it will say "Tailwind Service is Down - working to restore service ASAP".
