Vehicle Confusion and sensors not completing firmware update

I am trying to troubleshoot with the diagnostic tool why one of my vehicles was not opening the door. As I was running the troubleshooter I noticed that the car that was showing up in the top display was NOT the car I was driving. I ran this diagnostic test on a third vehicle (that uses a different garage door) and saw the same wrong vehicle as before that I again was not driving. When I approached the driveway the wrong garage door opened for the vehicle I was driving but the correct door shown in the diagnostic tool device. I have not changed a thing since the system was originally set up and working.

So I checked the vehicle list against the sensor numbers and against the garage doors and everything was correct.  I then deleted the original vehicle that started this problem and reinstall it.  I then decided to asssure all sensors had the most recent firmware so I tried an firmware up date on three of tthe sensors. Only one sensor completed the update.  All the rest got to 100% and after a few minutes returned to the firmware update screen. So I’m stuck what to do next?

  OK, I just realized that if I look away from my iPhone just when the firmware update succeeds it drops back to the update screen. So persumably all my sensors are now updtaed.  I’ll get back if I still have the vehicle confusion issue.
