    Walt,

We've had reports of this and our team believes they have found the issue. We will be publishing an updated app shortly that should hopefully resolve this issue for you. Sorry about that!

As a follow up to this, both cars are blue tooth connected to their respective android phones. I see the cars in the bluetooth phone lists.

When I run the diagnostic tool I see searching for vehicle/sensors. Nothing else shows in the diagnostic.

I have tried restarting the tailwind. I have tried unplugging the unit and plugging it back in.

Tailwind shows up in the list of Apps not optimized.

Under Mobile Data for the Tailwind app it says Allow background data usage and Allow app while data saver on.

Both phones are Samsung Note 9's. Both One UI version 2.0 and Android version 10.

    Thanks Scott.

An update to the app or the firmware?

    Scott,

Updated the app. Updated the firmware.

I can still open and close from the app. From Alexa.

But auto open does not work. The diagnostic tool is till looking for sensors.

I am having the same issue except when I run the diagnostic tool it now sees my car Bluetooth after the latest update. Before the update it would intermittently find my bluetooth in diagnostic tool.  Now with the latest update 8.93 auto open or close still does not work. I have made sure all settings are correct in the phone so Android does not shut it down.  I have uninstalled the app and cleared cache and data, reset module and added a new device, this still did not work. All family members are having the same issue.

    David and Walt,

Please do the following to help us get things working for you because we cannot reproduce the issue and we are testing with many different phones every day.

Go for a drive and make sure you go more than 1,000 feet away from home as the crow flies, and your garage door is closed

Make sure your phone has connected to your vehicle bluetooth

    Drive back home

If the door does not automatically open, please open the Tailwind app and tap the back arrow in the top left corner to get back to the main menu

Tap "Send bug report" and then fill in simple details, most notably roughly when you got in your car and started driving, and exactly what time you arrived home

Then please send us an email at support@gotailwind.com letting us know what email address you use to log into Tailwind on the phone you sent the bug report from. This will then allow me to flag it for assessment and get back to you with our findings.
