Partial open time update

Currently the lower limit is set too 750mS. Yes we could reduce it further. We just have to think it through because the pulse duration needs to be shorter than the partial open time. The door will start opening shortly after the pulse to start it, and if that pulse isn't finished yet and we're asking it to pulse the door again, there could be conflicts. Need to think about that a bit.

I have this same question.  The lower limit is 600ms on mine, and that is a bigger partial opening than I would like.  Any way to reduce?

I think it is more of a limitation of the garage door opener, and also the door sensor. If you think about it, 600mS to 700mS (so less than 1 second) is not a lot of time. This timer starts the moment the magnet is no longer detected by the sensor. So you could probably reduce the amount the door opens if you actually open up the gap between the magnet and sensor, which will cause to to be "away" or "open" sooner. This should reduce how much the door opens. Additionally you could try adjust the pulse time to a shorter pulse. Your opener may react faster to a shorter pulse. Most openers are good down to around 250 - 300mS.

Just be sure to leave it at 1 pulse if you do this, and it doesn't work if you have a Chamberlain adaptor. Those require the standard 1500mS pulses.

    Hi Scott

Any chance of having the partial open time max increased to 10000 or 12000 m/s as I need my sliding gate to open wide enough to get a horse through. 5000 m/s is only good enough for a person.
