    Jeff,

Sorry about the problem. Please note that when you report through the app it is a bug report submission only, not a request for tech support. That is why you didn't get a response. Below is a screenshot of what the app will show you when you submit a report. Please note the message in the dialog box.

If the Tailwind controller did not pick up on your local time change for Night Mode, please go into the Tailwind app to the Night Mode setting screen and simply tap "Save". This will re-sync Night Mode to the new time. We are working on ways to make sure it picks up when the local time changes more reliably.

yeap.. the little box needs to run ntp under the covers somewhere independently of the phone... nothing now-a-days can function reliability without some clocking mechanism which is Timezone aware with auto-sync options.

I had to reapply the setting after the time change to fix it.  Maybe the app and the tailwind just need to compare times with the phone occasionally or when the app triggers a door opening or something like that to update things.  I don't know whether it was the app or the tailwind unit that was unaware of the time change.  It really shouldn't be too hard.

Their tech support is pretty good about getting back to you, but only if you send an email for support.  Sending a "bug check" from the app doesn't get any kind of feedback.

Ah ok.. I was coming at it from an angle that once the base unit had an internet connection, it could get the time on it's own as it's probably running some truncated linux version.  Just a guess.

Time sync is one of my pet peeves b/c it's so important but often shoved to the bottom of the "must have" listing.  :)
