I bought for my parents and I am having trouble determining compatibility. I have pics of the unit and wiring.

  Ryan,

  Does your wall control look exactly like the one in this picture? Including the color of the buttons (black)?

  If it looks EXACTLY like this one, please ping me on support@gotailwind.com for special wiring instructions. If the wall control looks different than the picture, you can connect Tailwind to you your Genie Excelerator (terminals 1 and 2).

  Got it - and no, the opener doesn’t look like that.
