Replacing Garage Opener

Replaced garage door opener thinking the Tailwind would bolt right on to a 'smart' opener. Instead I found Chamberlain has worked hard to block any add-on products. The same company that makes the Chamberlain makes several other namebrands all with the same lockout. In my research I have read about a add-on board to make Tailwind compatible.

My question is there such a board available? or which manufacturer makes a door opener that works with Tailwind? I'm ready to unmount the new opener and try anything else.
