Hi Alan. Do you happen to know anyone that has an iPhone? If so, please use the Tailwind app on an iPhone. Log into your Tailwind account and try adding the vehicle sensor as you would normally do. Then log out of your Tailwind account after you have added it.

If that works you can then go back to your Pixel phone and refresh the vehicle list there and you should see it.

If that works I suspect some of the settings of the vehicle sensor might have been lost during the battery change. The iPhone version of our app has an automated tool in it that fixes this issue.

I'm not sure if this is what is happening in your case, but if you know someone with an iPhone it's a simple way to fix it and get back up and running.

    that worked.  Thank you!

Question on my droid.  If I have two vehicles that are actually the same vehicle on my droid, one tied to the puck and one to the stereo bluetooth, does that confuse the software?  I have not done this yet but I am curious.

    Hi Alan,

That will not confuse it. The vehicle bluetooth takes priority over the vehicle sensor, so if both are present and you configured them both as vehicles in the app it will ignore the vehicle sensor and follow whatever you configured using the vehicle bluetooth. The same is NOT true if 2 vehicle sensors are detected at the same time. If that happens while you are driving the app will not auto-open or close because it detects 2 configured vehicle sensors, which is a conflict.
