Liftmaster 87504 not working

Ordered and installed the adapter for the yellow learn button. No other wires are connected to the opener. Followed the correct wiring and programmed the remote to operate the door. Cannot get the door to open with the app. It does recognize the door opening. My other door, a craftsmen opener works fine. Help
