Tailwind not adding to homekit
I get the homekit code from the tailwind app and add it into homekit but the device is not found.
Any idea why? Is Tailwind always discoverable?

Hi Nicholas,
It is discoverable until you add it to Apple Home. Once that happens discoverability is turned off until you follow the reset instructions at the bottom right corner of the HomeKit welcome email.
If you have a wifi network with multiple access points or you're using a WiFi extender to reach your garage, please try bringing your Tailwind controller into the house near your router to see if that works. Sometimes HomeKit doesn't work properly through extenders, etc.

Hi Joseph,
We don't have a way to manually trigger that email to be sent yet (although this is on the "to do" list). The only way to trigger it would be to delete the Tailwind controller from your account and then add it back again.
To delete it from your account, open the Tailwind app. Tap the top left corner to get to the "My Devices" screen. Tap the gear icon to the right of the Tailwind device you want to delete. Tap the trash can at the top right corner. This will delete the device from your Tailwind account. This will also delete all the shares, vehicles, etc associated with that device.
Then to re-add it to your account, go back to the "My Devices" screen and tap the "+" icon at the top right and follow the prompts. Note that if you do this, you'll choose the option that the light is yellow, not flashing red when asked in the prompts. This skips the WiFi configuration process since that was already done previously.
