Tailwind fried by power surge?

Came home to both my garage doors open after a thunderstorm. App says Tailwind is offline. Green power light on the Tailwind, but no status light at all. Hard wired wall buttons not working either. Unplugged Tailwind and garage doors closed. Plugged it back in and again power light, but no status light. App says it’s offline. I’m afraid a power surge may have fried the Tailwind’s electronics. Any thoughts on what to try, before breaking down and buying a new one?
