Door opens by itself and locks out

For the second time in two weeks tonite, my door opened by itself ( 1:48 am standard ). The button on the wall doesn't work, iphone app doesn't work ( get audio and visual notification but door doesn't close ). I get the locked out msg and several times I have restarted the unit to no avail. I had to manually release the door to close it. If I had not heard the door opening, it would have been open all night. I have had the unit for 4 years now and other than the iPhone problems it has worked well. Anyone have any suggestions/solutions ????

Hi John,

Please try unplugging the wiring harness from port 1 on the Tailwind controller and then try your wall control again. If your wall control still does not work, check your wiring for damage - like a puncture from a staple etc. You're looking for damage that is shorting the 2 wires together somewhere.
