One of the major benefits of the Tailwind system is that it notifies you of any garage door activity. It can even verbally announce "Your Garage Door Just Opened" as the notification sound on your phone. If you have an Android phone and you suddenly stop receiving notifications, it is most likely nothing to do with Tailwind.
As of Android 10, the maximum unread notification limit per app has been dropped to just 24. It used to be 50. That means you'll need to stay on top of your notifications - from all apps. As soon as the number of notifications hits 24 on Android 10, or 50 in older Android versions, new ones will stop showing up.
To get things working again, simply clear your Tailwind notifications in your notifications tray. Yes, it's generally that simple. Now let's all write to Google and let them know how incredibly inconvenient it is. I know I have cameras and sensors all over my house that trigger a lot of notifications daily. They keep coming reliably on my iPhone but if I forget to clear the notification tray on my Android they stop after 24. Grrrr....
1) Swipe Down to see your notifications tray
2) Swipe left to clear your Tailwind notifications
If that doesn't get things working for you try the steps below:
1) Log out of the Tailwind app
2) Go to your phone settings
3) Tap on "apps"
4) Locate the Tailwind app and tap on it
5) Tap on "Storage"
6) Tap on "clear cache" and "clear memory"
7) Log back into the Tailwind app. Your verbal notifications should now be working again assuming you have the "verbal notification" box checked in the Tailwind app. You should not have to re-do your battery optimization and background data usage settings. You'll see a warning box about it, but they should be unaffected by this process.

I started getting just a sound notification this week. But no verbal. I have done this reset method multiple times but the voice still doesn't work. wondering if something is up with Tailwind.
Fixed. Our push notification service provider made some changers that broke this. We were able to make some changes on our server side to fix it.
Thats what makes Tailwind product so great. Customer service 2nd to none. Bought my Tailwind system in early 2018 and still the best thing I have ever purchased.
